Birmingham-based independent insurance broker, The Bletchley Group has announced a new partnership with The Association of Residential Managing Agents (ARMA).

The broker has joined the leading professional body’s existing network of 120 partners, which includes specialist accountancy firms, surveyors, lawyers, recruitment agencies and software providers.

The new relationship will enable The Bletchley Group to engage with the association’s 300 residential managing agent members across England and Wales, which collectively manages 50,000 blocks, 1.2 million leasehold homes and more than £1 billion in client funds each year.

Other benefits of the alliance include the chance for The Bletchley Group to host a Tech Talk roundtable event, giving ARMA members the opportunity to find out more about a range of insurance solutions and access representatives from leading insurers.

Angela Irvine, sales director at The Bletchley Group, said that the partnership was an extension of an existing relationship that has benefited both parties.

She said: “This is an exciting business development opportunity for The Bletchley Group and a chance for ARMA members to access a level of insurance brokerage services that they may not have experienced before.

“ARMA is a hugely respected trade body and there’s a real synergy with the work we deliver for companies across the property sector. Many of the fire risk assessors and cladding consultants we engage with for professional indemnity insurance cover, also tend to also be ARMA partners.

“I’ve also been quite heavily involved in terms of speaking at past ARMA conferences, as well as providing thought leadership content for its members, so it makes sense for us to become an ARMA partner and open further doors to the professional leasehold management sector.”
